Very often you will hear the term “job-person fit” and you may wonder what the big deal about it is. But actually, it is the most important thing when it comes to job satisfaction rather than salary or other perks. To start with, here are some jobs which are perfect for extroverts.

1. Event planner

Apart from your efficient planning skills, your interpersonal skills have a great part to play here. You have to interact with a whole lot of people right from the clients to the florist and unless you are an extrovert, you won’t be able to last a week in this job.

2. HR professional

They take care of the most important resource of the company: its employees. And especially if you are responsible for handling employee relations, you must have an outgoing personality.

4. Performer

Whether you are a dancer or an actor, you must learn to let go of your inhibitions and come out of your shell. How else will you be able to perform on stage when hundreds or even thousands of eyes are on you?

5. Education administrator

An education administrator has to interact with a whole lot of people including the students, parents and staff. Apparently it requires an extroverted personality to do this job well.

6. Liaison officer

A liaison officer is the communication conduit between two organizations and whether you are working in the private or public sector, including defense, you must have superb interpersonal skills. This is one of those jobs an introvert should stay miles away from.

Of course your financial acumen is extremely important if you want to succeed in this field, but you must also be a people’s person as you have to interact a lot with your clients. So it’s preferable that only extroverts choose this as their career.

8. Therapist

Whether you are a physical therapist or a family therapist, you must have an amiable personality for your clients to open up to you. You wouldn’t make a great therapist if you are forever lost in your own little world of problems.

9. Customer service representative

A restaurant manager has to ensure that everything goes on smoothly every day at the restaurant. Hence, he/she has to interact with and manage all the stakeholders involved from the customers to the staff. Needless to say, an extroversion is a trait that all restaurant managers should have.
