Sometimes you cannot help it due to your work schedule, like if you are working a night shift, you must stay awake at night, but otherwise, you should try and go to bed early so that you can wake up early in the morning and reap its several benefits. Being a night owl also has some benefits, but a morning person’s life is invariably better. You should train your body clock in such a way that you feel sleepy and go off to bed early and then rise early in the morning and reap its advantages. Here are some reasons why being a morning person is advisable than being a night owl:

1. You do not miss out on breakfast

By being a morning person, you do not miss out on the most important meal of the day. The chances of your skipping breakfast are minimized because you will feel hungry. A morning person has the scope of having a healthy breakfast which will keep him/her fueled for the day and will curb craving for unhealthy foods and hunger later during the day. If you wake up late, you are closer to your lunch time, and also end up eating too much junk food during the day.

2. You get time to exercise

When you wake up in the morning, you have enough time to exercise. The daily recommended exercise time for an average adult is only thirty minutes, and so you can easily find enough time early in the morning to schedule your daily exercise during those early hours. If you wake up late, you have to rush for everything, and miss out on a lot of things, including exercise.

3. You get enough productive time

You will find plenty of productive time if you wake up early in the morning. You will be able to get a lot of work done which would have been otherwise quite challenging. Especially, if you are in the creative field or an author, the early morning hours are the best to invest in thinking and nurturing your creativity. You will get a lot of fresh ideas in the early morning atmosphere.

4. Makes you punctual

Waking up early in the morning makes you punctual because you are already ready with a lot of things which take time if you rise late. Since you do not waste time in other things, and are fresh, you go about your day effectively, and you are always on time for everything.

5. Quiet and peace

The morning atmosphere allows you to experience some silence and peace which is a rarity later during the day. The streets are empty; other people at home would be asleep or would be busy doing their own thing. You will hardly find any disturbance if you are a morning person, and will also be less irritable to others!

6. You have extra leisure

If you wake up early in the morning, you get all your work done well in time and in fact, earlier than scheduled. Thus, you will find that you now have more leisure than you would have if you are a night owl.
